Remote client identifying as 127.0.0.1

A little back ground on my setup.
Plex server is a VM of Ubuntu 14.04 Server, no gui. I share my server externally with some friends. I run PlexWatch, and PlexPy for stats tracking. A while back I noticed one friend's iPad ip coming in as 127.0.0.1.

None of my other devices are doing this. Internally, I have 3 Rokus, a FireTV, a few android phones/tabs, and an iPhone, all of them identify as their internal IP, I've tried turning off analytics on the app, nothing I do will make it identify as 127.0.0.1.
Externally all my friends I share with are identifying as their public IP, they also have multiple devices, Mostly rokus with a few android mobile devices, a FireTV, and this one iPad. This iPad used to identify as the public IP, then all of a sudden started coming in as 127.0.0.1. This iPad has NEVER been on the same internal network as the plex server.

I've tried restarting the plexmediaserver service, but it's still coming in as 127.0.0.1

Has any one ever seen this? Thanks for the help.
