When transcoding x265, I notice some severe quality degradation when compared to the original file. It seems that when transcoding it to x264 for playback, it chokes the bitrate options so you end up with a blocky mess.
Is there any way around this?
I'm running on CentOS 7, dual Xeon E5410, 16GB RAM.
