I've created a guide that can easily walk you through setting up your own Debian or Ubuntu server that runs rTorrent, ruTorrent, and Plex to allow you to download and stream media from any source to all of your devices.
Include Plex and other additional software in the "Extras" section, and the guide will walk you through installation and configuration.
