I have a linux box as the plex server. It is slightly under powered but generally works alright.
But I had to reinstall the system recently and am currently trying to rescrape my library. The system load is ridiculous while this is going on. Is plex opening a lot of simulatenous threads or something to do the scraping? Is there any setting to control this behavior? Even if I have to edit a file somewhere.
I don't care if it takes a week to get everything, it is problem that the system is completely unusable for anything with this much load.
