I have been trying numerous suggestions from the search function but i am really struggling with this one.
I was previously running PMS on my synology ds1513 however it was not powerful enough to transcode. So i installed PMS on a desktop PC with a fresh install of centOS 7.
The desktop pc is a medium specification:
i7-3770 @3.4
8gb DDR3 (x2 4gb dual channel)
i will omit my network details as in my testing i have moved a mkv file to the local hard disk and tried to play the file locally and had the same issue. The issue is that after a few minutes the file will stop playing. on rasplex it just stops, on ios it says there was an error playing this file and if i play it locally via firefox it will just stop.
i have tried changing the tmp directory (it is 32gb free space) i have tried all manner of different transcoding options and nothing is resolving this issue for me.
if someone can please help me it will be greatly appreciated - i will send some log in a minute. i am just rebooting the computer after completing a memtest.
