Updating PMS on Ubuntu Server?

Hi all,

In looking for the simplest way to upgrade my Plex Server I've tried $ sudo apt get update and $ sudo apt-get upgrade, but PMS is just not upgrading.

My Kernel is:
4.2.0-42-generic

My OS is:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS
Release: 14.04
Codename: trusty

$ sudo apt-get update returns:

W: Failed to fetch http://plex.r.worldssl.net/PlexMediaServer/ubuntu-repo/dists/lucid/InRelease

W: Failed to fetch http://plex.r.worldssl.net/PlexMediaServer/ubuntu-repo/dists/lucid/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'plex.r.worldssl.net'

W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

So, seeing the Lucid repo above, I thought I'd be clever and look for the Trusty repository, found this thread here; https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/186136/ubuntu-repository and added this repo, but still no joy.

How can I remove the old Lucid repo?

Is it worth uninstalling and re-installing PMS? If so, what is the best command line method for the uninstall? (I'm still learning Linux)

Should PMS be stopped before trying any of this? - What is the command line way to stop & start PMS?

Thanks, Scott.
