I suspect this has been answered elsewhere, but I can't seem to track down the right answer. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.
I'm running PMS headless on Ubuntu 12.04. I update by downloading the .deb file and running dpkg -i. For a long time that worked just fine.
Starting sometime during the summer, the PMS won't restart automatically after the install. I have to run service plexmediaserver start. (Or reboot the VM.)
It's not a huge issue, but I liked that it autostarted and am curious as to why that's not working any more.
So, what can anyone suggest to get PMS to automatically restart next time I upgrade?
