Hello,
I have recently moved house and therefore not accessed Plex for a number of weeks. A few months prior to moving I had recently purchased a plex pass and set up multiple users for myself (main account), my wife, and child. This was all operating without a hitch prior to the move
I have had the below set up for a number of years and has been reliable up till I shutdown the server to move.
Steps I have tried to resolve this so far:
Updating the the latest PMS for Ubuntu 64 bit
signing out of all devices, then signing in to the server
Posting this topic on the forum
I am running PMS version 1.2.2.2857-d34b464_amd64.deb on a virtual ubuntu server 14.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 3.13.0-77-generic x86_64). This is networked via ethernet to the computer I am using (windows based). I have a static IP address and I can access the plex web interface via IPAddressofserver:32400/web/index.html# . When on that page signed in as my admin user account "Alwaysthyrsty" the web interface is unable to find the server (confirmed on other Plex devices). Yellow wording on the top left states "Looking for servers..."
If I select another user on the web interface it has the same result, however from my Samsung Plex app it can find all content that is shared with that user, so I know PMS is running. It can play some of the shared media, but not all of it. This has been confirmed on other Plex devices. I cannot see or view the content from my "Alwaysthyrsty" user from the Samsung Plex app.
When I set up PMS I moved the default location of the metadata, which I have not recently changed. Other than that my setup is fairly stratight forward.
Any assistance would be appreciated!
