CentOS 7 Plex Server Issue. PlexMediaServer running but unable to access server settings.

I figured i would post something about my struggle with this issue. I finally figured out how to resolve my issue after tons of attempts.

I run my plex server on a Dedicated server hosted in the EU on CentOS7. im a East Coast resident in the US. The original issue was that my root directory was filling up due to the MetaData and Media folders being in my /var directory. I moved these files to my /home where all my space is allocated and connected the files with a Symbolic link. Welp it did not work the first time around . My PlexMediaServer would show running but when i access my Plex account no server settings. I Tried Uninstalling and the same issue accrued. I tried access the server Http://PublicIp:32400/web . Same issue i could see the service running i could see my server listening on the port but still no Plex server settings.

Issue was that i needed to SSH tunnel to my server to access it Locally so i could sign into my plex account so it could register and access my plex server after the uninstall. Well trying to fix this process i cant tell you how many different plex revisions i tried. i ended up changing the Plex config files to point the directory instead of a Symbolic link. Working great so far . Only issues i have had recently are Plex playing on Chromecast and Fire tv stick devices. Believe the Transcoding is fast enough on the server but those devices are not able to keep up.
