Hi guys, so I just set up my Plex Server on Ubuntu 16.04 with a wired connection. Everything seemed to be going well until I flipped the switch in the server settings to turn on remote access. I enabled a manually specific public port and have looked online and in the forums and I am stumped. Also I am on college campus internet if that means anything. My laptop is connected to the wifi in my dorm and the desktop running the server is connected with an Ethernet cable. I can't connect to the server from a client web app or downloaded app running on my laptop. Do you think that my problems are due to reasons outside my control (ex. University web policy) or is there something I am missing yet? Thanks for the help!
