I am trying to troubleshoot some video transcoding performance issues, but when I turn on verbose logging I am not getting any additional information in the log.
I have enabled both debug and verbose logging on my PMS by going to Settings > Server > General > Enable Plex Media Server debug logging and Enable Plex Media Server verbose logging.
However, when I monitor the "Plex Media Server.log" file the only entry I see is something like the following:
Nov 02, 2015 11:29:10 [0x7f5e1fae3840] INFO - Plex Media Server v0.9.12.18.1520-6833552 - ubuntu PC x86_64 - build: linux-ubuntu-x86_64 ubuntu
All 5 archived logs are like that as well with one line like the above. The "Plex Media Scanner.log" file seems to be logging things just fine it's just the "Plex Media Server.log" file that seems to not log any activity. Any ideas why?__
