Hallo,
I purchased an Intel NUC 6i3SYH to use as a Plex Server. Currently I'm using an old Mac mini but it's a bit slow and tired now (it's almost ten years old) so I thought I would update with something of a similar form factor, but more powerful and lesser power draw.
I decided on Ubuntu and am about to download and install, but I see both Server and Desktop versions available. Which one should I download?
Bear in mind my NUC will only be used as a PLex server. I do not plan on using it for anything else. I hope to just have it on, running all the time so that anyone in the house can view films at any time.
Also, my Plex library has been established for a couple of years. I'm guessing I can easily export/import all of my meta data from the Mac to the NUC?
