So my mate built me a server and the OS is Linux Peppermint. I transferred all my files from my windows 10 pc that was my plex server. I set up the libraries location and pointed them to the HDD the files are on. Plex scaned the hdd's and found all the file and updted the metadata for them.
My problem is whenever I add a file to any hdd the plex does not find the file. In settings I have click the option to check for new media when changes made to hdd or what ever that option is. Also set it to dscan every 15min. I even do a manual scan and still nothing. I am not sure if its a setting I am just over looking so something else. Any help on this issue would be amazing.
If you need any more info eg plex version or log info just ask nicly and where that info is and I will provide it. I am not sure where the log file is but know its handy to trouble shoot. I have read pages of forums but can't seem to troubleshoot this problem.
