Hi all,
I have been running headless Ubuntu for PMS, and it recently became a bind when the repository disappeared, turning updating into a manual job.
I am soon going to be changing my server hardware due to a recent failure. This gives me an opportunity to use a different Linux distro...
Question: - Which distro will offer me a way of updating PMS simply via apt-get update / upgrade for the foreseeable future? ie: repositories likely to be kept maintained.
I've seen a lot of talk going on about Debian recently, but got lost in the >40 pages of conversations... and also seen brief mention of Mint. What is the favourite? This will be a headless machine, no desktop required.
Many thanks, Scott.
